Abstract

Adjustment of the education curriculum is a necessity in a global era that demands adaptation to fast-paced technological changes. Not yet finished accommodating various 21st century skills, we were surprised by an unexpected disruption, the covid-19 pandemic. Innovation in the learning process demands adaptation to both conditions. Learning that provides space for the emergence of skills that are ready to face the challenges of the global era, but also remains adaptive to be applied during a pandemic that demands independent learning of students. The key in distance learning is that the teacher is able to build and maintain student involvement in learning. Mind mapping is a learning innovation that is able to bring up critical thinking and problem solving skills, creative and innovative thinking patterns, active communication skills, and create independent learning
