The abstract nature of mathematics often causes students to struggle with applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations. This study aims to develop disaster mitigation-based mathematics learning materials and to test their feasibility and effectiveness in improving the mathematical application skills of junior high school students in Pidie Jaya Regency. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were junior high school students in Pidie Jaya Regency. Research instruments included an expert validation sheet, a student response questionnaire, and a mathematical application skills test. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity and practicality of the media, and gain score analysis was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the learning media. The results indicate that the disaster mitigation-based mathematics learning media falls into the “feasible” to “highly feasible” categories. Student responses were positive, and test results showed an improvement in students’ mathematical application skills after using the learning media. Thus, the developed learning media is effective as an alternative for contextual learning and supports disaster mitigation education in schools.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2562MAUIZAH METHOD IN LEARNING THE QURAN AS A CONCEPT OF MORAL AND SPIRITUAL EDUCATION BASED ON QS LUQMAN VERSES 12–192026-04-02T10:30:49+00:00Aulia Tegar Wicaksonotwicaksono6@upi.eduSurahman's Grandsoncucu.surahman@upi.eduElan Sumarnaelan_sumarna@upi.edu
This study aims to examine mauizah as a Quranic model of moral and spiritual education based on Surah Luqman verses 12–19 Employing a maudui thematic exegetical approach this qualitative library research integrates classical Quranic commentaries such as al Qurtubi alongside the contemporary interpretation of Tafsir al Misbah by Quraish Shihab in dialogue with Islamic educational and ethical thought In this study mauizah is conceptualized not merely as verbal advice but as a comprehensive pedagogical method characterized by gentle communication emotional proximity and the internalization of moral and spiritual values within the learners inner consciousness The findings reveal that Luqmans counsel constitutes a structured and progressive moral spiritual educational framework encompassing the cultivation of tauhid and syukr gratitude filial piety awareness of muraqabah and the development of istiqamah through salat amr maruf nahy munkar and sabr Furthermore the verse emphasizes social ethics through the cultivation of tawadu self restraint and refined communication These values are transmitted through an affective pedagogical approach that nurtures internal moral awareness rather than externally imposed obedience This study argues that mauizah represents a holistic humanistic and transformative model of Islamic education as it integrates cognitive understanding affective engagement and spiritual awareness in a balanced manner Consequently Quranic education grounded in mauizah offers a relevant and meaningful response to contemporary moral spiritual and character challenges in Islamic education
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2560THE EPISTEMOLOGY OF THE HUDAN GUIDANCE OF THE QURAN AS A FRAMEWORK FOR ESTABLISHING THE VALIDITY OF THE MAQASID OF THE QURAN2026-04-02T09:55:33+00:00
This article examines the epistemology of the Quranic hudan as a conceptual framework in confirming the validity of contemporary interpretations of the maqasid of the Quran Hudan is understood not merely as a normative guide but as an epistemic system that guides the human reasoning process in understanding the objectives of revelation This study aims to show that the formulation of the maqasid of the Quran must be rooted in a divine orientation so as not to be trapped in rational relativism and pragmatic interests By using a qualitative approach based on literature studies and conceptual analysis this article asserts that the epistemology of hudan functions as a normative methodological and evaluative foundation in the interpretation of maqasid The results of the study indicate that hudan is able to maintain a balance between loyalty to revelation and responsiveness to social reality so that the maqasid of the Quran remains relevant valid and has theological legitimacy in responding to the challenges of the contemporary era.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2552MUSLIM MINORITIES IN JANJI MATOGU, TOBA: A HISTORICAL ANALYSIS OF SOCIO-RELIGIOUS EXISTENCE AND CULTURAL ADAPTATION (1970–2020)2026-04-01T04:59:32+00:00Muhammad Hasiando Nasutionmuhammaad0602191008@uinsu.ac.idNursapia Harahapnursapiaharahap@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the existence and socio-religious dynamics of the Muslim minority community in Janji Matogu Village, Toba Regency, from 1970-2020. The primary focus of this research is the cultural adaptation process carried out by the Muslim community amidst a Christian majority environment deeply rooted in Batak customs. The research employs the historical method, consisting of four stages: heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious and traditional leaders, field observations, and searches of local historical documents. The results indicate that the existence of Muslims in Janji Matogu is maintained through a “social syncretism” strategy, where Islamic identity is preserved without abandoning the values of Dalihan Na Tolu. The dynamics over five decades show a shift from mere survival to the strengthening of educational institutions and places of worship in harmony. This study concludes that cultural adaptation is the key to social integration, proving that differences in belief do not hinder community cohesion within the framework of inclusive Toba local wisdom.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2549INNOVATION IN QURANIC LEARNING AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEVEL (SD) THROUGH THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) -BASED TECHNOLOGY2026-04-01T04:41:46+00:00Nanda Zaini Badri2210631110156@student.unsika.ac.idIqbal Amar Muzakiiqbalamarmuzaki@gmail.commuhammad makbulmuhammadmakbul@gmail.com
This study discusses the innovation of Qur'anic learning at the elementary school level through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology. The background of this research lies in the low level of students' Qur'anic literacy, which is mainly caused by the limitations of conventional teaching methods and the lack of learning media variations. The research method applied is library research by analyzing various literature related to the implementation of AI in education. The findings show that AI has the potential to enhance the effectiveness, interactivity, and personalization of Qur'anic learning. Examples include speech recognition technology to improve recitation, tahfidz applications to monitor memorization progress, and gamification features to increase students' learning motivation. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teachers' readiness to master technology, and curriculum adaptation remain significant issues. In conclusion, the application of AI in Qur'anic learning is a strategic solution to improve students' Qur'anic literacy while supporting the formation of a Qur'anic generation that is religious, adaptive, and technologically literate.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2252NEO-JAHILIYAH BEHAVIOR AND CHALLENGES OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MAWU VILLAGE, AMBALAWI-BIMA DISTRICT2025-10-16T04:19:39+00:00Sunandi Mawusunandimw230303@gmail.comIdharsunandimw230303@gmail.comJunaidinsunandimw230303@gmail.com
This study analyzes neo -jahiliyah behavior and the challenges of Islamic Education in Mawu Village, Ambalawi District , Bima Regency, as a manifestation of moral and spiritual decline similar to the pre -Islamic era of ignorance, as stated by Sayyid Qutb . The background of the problem includes the degradation of the younger generation due to the lack of religious literacy , which gives rise to phenomena such as drug consumption, alcohol, early marriage, theft, and gambling. The purpose of the study is to uncover neo -jahiliyah behavior, the role of Islamic Education in its transformation, and the challenges faced. The research method is qualitative with a case study approach, using observation techniques, semi-structured interviews with key informants (village heads, traditional leaders, religious leaders, educators, and community), and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model , with a focus on reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that neo -jahiliyah behavior in Mawu Village is influenced by weak internal supervision, family role models, and materialistic economic orientation, despite efforts from various parties such as village patrols, traditional activities (rawi rasa), mosque prosperity , and teaching of faith and morals in schools. Islamic education plays a strategic role through a holistic approach (family, community, formal) to shape noble morals and spiritual awareness, supported by verses of the Qur'an ( QS . Al-Mujadalah: 11) and theories such as ta'dib al-Attas and Ulwan's tarbiyah . However, the main challenges include a lack of consistent guidance, the influence of globalization, a permissive environment, and minimal synergy between elements of society. The study's conclusion emphasizes the need for a comprehensive, sustainable, and collaborative Islamic education strategy to change neo -jahiliyyah behavior, so that the generation of Mawu Village returns to Islamic values that balance reason, heart, and revelation.
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2275EDUCATIONAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE ERA OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0: CHALLENGES AND INTEGRATION OF LOCAL WISDOM2025-10-29T21:45:10+00:00Gamal Abdul Natsir mbokoringi@gmail.comSamsudinsamsudin.stitbima@gmail.comJunaidinjunaidinmuhaimin@gmail.com
The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant transformations in the world of education, including changes in learning methods, evaluation systems, and educational policies. The study used a qualitative approach with a multiple case study design. The research informants consisted of three parents who were identified as using permissive parenting. Data were acquired through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed inductively. The results showed that permissive parenting was characterized by giving children broad freedom to make decisions, weak house rules, and minimal supervision and consequences. Tolerance values are an essential part of character building for students, especially at the elementary school level, which serves as the initial foundation in shaping attitudes of mutual respect, appreciating differences, and living harmoniously in diversity. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research were PPKn teachers and fourth-grade students at SDN Sangari. The findings indicate that the implementation of tolerance values in PPKn learning is carried out through the integration of teaching materials, teacher role-modeling, habituation of tolerant behavior in school life, and the resolution of simple conflicts among students. Teachers actively instill tolerance through classroom discussions, educational games, and the strengthening of Pancasila values in daily life. However, several obstacles were encountered, such as limited contextual learning media and insufficient teacher training in developing integrated character education within the curriculum. Nevertheless, overall, the process of instilling tolerance values at SDN Sangari shows a positive impact in shaping students' attitudes of mutual respect and acceptance of differences. The study recommends that teachers act as facilitators of tolerance values by maximizing support from the school environment and parents to foster tolerance from an early age
2026-03-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/almubin/article/view/2254IMPROVING THE LANGUAGE SKILLS OF 3-4 YEAR OLD CHILDREN THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF SENSORY BOX MEDIA AT THE ANGGREK TEGALSONO KINDERGARTEN2025-10-16T04:37:04+00:00Umi Atiyahumiatiyahhaviel@gmail.comAgustiarini Eka Dheasariumiatiyahhaviel@gmail.com
This study aims to improve the language skills of children aged 3–4 years through the application of sensory box media at the Anggrek Tegalsono Kindergarten.
