This research was conducted on May 13, 2024, at MI Integral Hidayahtullah Suwawa, specifically in the third-grade thematic lessons. Based on observations, although the teacher made considerable efforts to deliver the material effectively, students' learning outcomes were still inadequate, especially in thematic learning. This was due to the reliance on the lecture method, which resulted in passive learning, where students were mostly listening, taking notes, and memorizing without active involvement. Additionally, some students' scores were below the minimum passing grade (KKM). Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the application of the Picture and Picture learning model can improve the quality of thematic learning and students' learning outcomes. The Picture and Picture model encourages students to be more active in the learning process by emphasizing student empowerment during learning activities. The use of Picture and Picture media has the potential to stimulate students' attention, emotions, and motivation, thus supporting a more effective and engaging learning experience
Dwi Santika Bami

This study aims to examine the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning in shaping the religious character of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Integral Hidayatullah Suwawa Tengah, Bone Bolango Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to deeply understand the process and outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak learning and its impact on students' religious character. The findings indicate that the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning at this madrasah is effective in shaping students' religious character, as reflected in positive habits such as praying before study, performing congregational prayers, and practicing charity. These habits not only teach religious values but also help foster discipline and a sense of responsibility among students. However, despite the effectiveness of Aqidah Akhlak learning, the study also identifies several challenges affecting the process of shaping religious character, such as a lack of self-awareness among students and the suboptimal involvement of parents in supporting religious education at home. These challenges need to be addressed to improve the outcomes of the learning process. Efforts to overcome these challenges include setting a good example by teachers, providing appreciation for positive behavior, implementing balanced punishment for negative behavior, and using varied teaching media to increase student interest and understanding. This study makes a significant contribution to enriching the understanding of religious character education, particularly in areas with unique local wisdom like Bone Bolango Regency. By exploring the social and cultural context, this research adds to the knowledge of how Aqidah Akhlak learning can be integrated with local values to strengthen the development of students' religious character in madrasahs
Sri Delawati IbrahimSaid Subhan PosangiRinaldi Datunsolang

This study aims to examine the development of students' spiritual intelligence through religious activities at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto and its relevance to the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile. Spiritual intelligence is defined as the ability to understand the meaning of life and connect it with the spiritual dimension, which is crucial in character development. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that activities such as collective Dhuha prayer and structured Quran learning play a significant role in supporting the development of students' spiritual intelligence. These activities not only enhance students' understanding of spiritual values but also contribute to shaping their character, in line with the religious elements of the Pancasila Student Profile. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as the limitation of teaching staff and funding, which pose obstacles to the optimization of these activities. Overall, the research concludes that spiritual-based education is essential in forming morally upright students, which aligns with the broader goals of education in Indonesia, aimed at creating a generation that is integral, independent, and virtuous. Religious activities at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto serve as an effective tool in achieving these objectives, further reinforcing the connection between spiritual intelligence and the development of students' character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profil
Ika AprianiMujahid DamopoliiRinaldi Datunsolang

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing students' learning difficulties in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in class 3 MI Al-Yusra, Gorontalo City, and to examine the efforts made by teachers to overcome these learning difficulties. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data was collected through observations of students' parents and interviews with the subject teachers regarding the learning difficulties encountered. The results reveal that many students face challenges in learning due to not revisiting previously taught materials, which leads to difficulties in answering questions during subsequent lessons. Additionally, limited instructional time prevents the completion of lessons, and a lack of focus during learning sessions causes students to struggle with understanding the subject matter. Other influencing factors include limited school facilities and a lack of student interest in learning, which is often affected by their home environment. Students who receive more attention from their families tend to find it easier to understand the material. Furthermore, students experience difficulties in memorizing Asmaul Husna. Teachers address these challenges by creating an engaging learning environment, using attractive teaching methods and media, and providing praise or rewards to motivate students. It is recommended that teachers review previously taught materials before introducing new content and apply more varied teaching methods, such as visual media, audiovisuals, and group discussions, to enhance students' interest in learning. Improving learning facilities is also crucial to ensure students can fully comprehend the lesson content in class
Karlina PakayaNajamuddin PetasolongFirman Sidik

This study aims to analyze the impact of animated interactive media, in the form of video-based learning, on student learning interest in Science subjects in grade V at SDN 04 Limboto. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a “posttest-only control group design.” This design involved two groups: an experimental group that received the treatment using animated interactive media, and a control group that did not receive the treatment. The population in this study consisted of all grade V students at SDN 04 Limboto, totaling 20 students. The selection of this limited sample size was due to resource and time constraints, as well as to facilitate more controlled variable testing in the study. The interactive media used was animated video-based learning created through the Canva platform. Data collection was carried out through documentation and questionnaires, with the latter being used to assess students' learning interest based on three key indicators: enjoyment, attention, and learning activity. Data analysis involved normality tests and hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference in students' learning interest between the experimental and control groups. The t-test result yielded a t-value of 12.9, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.69, and the significance value (sig. 2-tailed) was 0.00, which is less than the 0.05 threshold. These results indicate that the use of animated interactive media significantly affected students' learning interest in Science subjects. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, indicating a significant influence of animated interactive media on students’ learning interest. This study distinguishes itself from previous research by focusing on the use of Canva-based animated media, which has not been widely explored in the context of Science learning at the elementary school level
Mufida AbdullahLian G.
