PENGARUH METODE GIST TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR DALAM MAHARATUL QIRA'AH SISWA KELAS X DI MA QOTRUN NADA CIPAYUNG DEPOK TAHUN AJARAN 2022 / 2023

This study is motivated by the importance of the method in every learning. One of the methods is the GIST method, which is a method of understanding reading used during reading or after reading, with this method students summarize a paragraph reading text by reading the essence of the paragraph. The purpose of study is to find out how influential the GIST Method is on learning interest in the maharatul qira'ah of grade X students at MA Qotrun Nada Cipayung Depok. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a type or descriptive research design. The subjects of this study population were class X students totaling 97 students. The instruments used for data collection are questionnaires, interviews and using prerequisite tests and simple regression tests. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of interest in learning using the GIST (Generating Instruction Schemata and Text) method in maharatul qira'ah. And the results of the regression test show that the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the calculated t value of 6.777 > the t table value of 2.030, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of the GIST method (X) on maharah qira'ah (Y).
