The novelty of the study lies in analyzing the relevance of PAI material content to students social emotional behavior, not just the method or cognitive learning outcomes. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted through learning observations, in depth interviews with PAI teachers and students, and analysis of curriculum documents and learning tools. The results of the study indicate that 1) Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in fourth grade elementary school at SD Negeri 1 Kaumrejo are implemented in a planned and contextual manner, emphasizing the internalization of values through role models, habituation, and strengthening students religious attitudes and social behavior 2) students social and emotional intelligence develop quite well, characterized by the ability to cooperate, empathize, mutual respect, and manage emotions, although guidance is still needed in emotional control and conflict resolution 3) PAI materials have strong relevance to the development of students social and emotional intelligence, because their consistent and reflective implementation contributes significantly to shaping positive social behavior and strengthening the role of PAI in character education in elementary schools
Elik Cahyaning Devikawati, Hanifudin, Asriana Kibtiyah, Rofiatul Hosna Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2491 Sun, 22 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 IMPLEMENTING SENGE’S LEARNING ORGANISATION MODEL IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS: A CASE STUDY OF PONDOK PESANTREN DARUNNAJAH https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2507
This study aims to examine the implementation of Senge’s Learning Organisation model within the context of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) management, with a specific focus on Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants, including institutional leaders, senior teachers, and administrators, supplemented by participant observation and document analysis over six months. The findings reveal that Darunnajah has effectively operationalised the five subsystems of Marquardt’s learning organisation framework: learning dynamics, organisational transformation, people empowerment, knowledge management, and technology application, while preserving its core Islamic identity. The pesantren demonstrates continuous learning through formal and non-formal pedagogical approaches, systematic organisational transformation from a traditional to a modern governance structure, strategic human resource empowerment through professional development and international partnerships, knowledge management through structured information dissemination, and technology integration across all educational levels. Currently operating 23 branch campuses across Indonesia, Darunnajah exemplifies how learning organisation principles can drive sustainable institutional expansion. The study concludes that the successful synthesis of Western organisational learning theory with Islamic educational philosophy at Darunnajah provides a replicable model for pesantren modernisation. This research contributes to the literature by bridging the gap between learning organisation theory developed in corporate settings and its application in faith-based educational institutions.
Sofwan Manaf, Busthomi Ibrohim, Muhammad Irfanudin Kurniawan, Fajar Suryono, Musthofa Musthofa, Duna Izfanna, Mastur Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2507 Mon, 23 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 ISLAMIC EDUCATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN OPTIMIZING THE ROLE OF PEER COUNSELORS TO PREVENT CYBERBULLYING https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2505
The phenomenon of cyberbullying in Islamic education environments has become increasingly concerning due to the rapid digitalization among young students. Islamic education management must not only focus on cognitive aspects but also protect students' mental health from the threat of digital aggression. This study aims to examine the role of peer counselors in preventing cyberbullying in madrasas through a management approach based on Islamic counseling. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research collects both quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate the effectiveness of the peer counselor role and the managerial strategies implemented. The results show that the role of peer counselors, trained with noble character values and digital literacy, is effective in reducing cyberbullying cases by 43%. This approach proves to be more adaptive compared to traditional counseling methods, given the intense interactions among students and shared communication language. The study suggests the importance of a more organized managerial structure in empowering peer counselors to create a safe and ethically sound digital ecosystem in Islamic educational settings
Frendi Fernando, Sri Mulyani, Lastri Khasanah, Fibriana Miftahus Sa'adah, Noneng Siti Rosidah, Lia Nur Khotijah Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2505 Mon, 23 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE, TEACHER EMPOWERMENT, WORK MOTIVATION AND ICT EFFECTIVENESS IN IMPROVING TEACHER PERFORMANCE https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2506
Teacher performance plays a critical role in improving educational quality, particularly in vocational schools facing rapid curricular and technological changes. Dayah are required to transform into emergency response institutions and community recovery centers, yet a contextual disaster management and leadership model aligned with Islamic educational values has not been systematically formulated. This study aims to reconstruct a resilience-based dayah leadership model through critical synthesis of current literature. The research methodology employed is a literature review using a qualitative approach, drawing from books, international and national scholarly journal articles, and research reports. Data validity was tested through source triangulation, meticulous observation, and audit trails. The research findings reveal four main points: first, the transformation of the role of dayah leaders from spiritual authorities to crisis agents that broaden the scope of leadership; second, adaptive strategies in physical reconstruction and curriculum through participatory models and the integration of disaster values into the traditional Islamic curriculum; third, the internalization of resilience values such as patience, reliance on God, and communal cooperation through a 24-hour dayah education system; fourth, an organic collaborative network model between dayah, the government, and civil society that balances self-reliance and partnership. The study concludes that dayah resilience is not merely about survival but growing into a stronger and more relevant version. Implementation of the research findings includes integrating disaster training in cleric development, developing yellow-book-based mitigation modules, institutionalizing regular collaboration forums, and mapping alumni networks as emergency response hubs
Suzanni Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2490 Mon, 23 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION AS CATALYZERS FOR IMPROVING TEACHER COMPETENCE IN FACING THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2488
The Independent Curriculum requires teachers to be more independent, creative, and responsive to students' needs. However, there are still many teachers who do not have optimal competence in implementing it. This is exacerbated by the leadership of the principal who has not fully played the role of a mentor and motivator and the implementation of academic supervision which is still a formality and has not touched on aspects of professional development in depth. As a result, the process of teachers adapting to the Independent Curriculum is slow and uneven. This research uses a library research approach. The data used in this study were sourced from literature in the form of scientific articles and research reports discussing principal leadership, academic supervision, and teacher competency development. The results of the study indicate that: 1). Principal leadership plays a crucial role in improving teacher competency through support, motivation, and coaching that encourage teachers to be more prepared and capable of implementing the Independent Curriculum. 2). Academic supervision is carried out collaboratively and continuously through classroom observations, feedback, and coaching that helps teachers develop professionalism and understand the Independent Curriculum more deeply. 3). The synergy between leadership and supervision has proven to be an effective catalyst in accelerating teacher competency improvement, especially in adapting to the demands and principles of the Independent Curriculum. Thus, principal leadership and academic supervision have proven to have important and complementary roles in improving teacher competency in facing the Independent Curriculum. Supportive leadership and reflective supervision can create a learning environment that encourages teachers to develop professionally and pedagogically
Nurmalina, Muhammad Hasyimsyah Batubara, Emy Yusdiana, Khairul Ismi, Irwandi Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2488 Mon, 23 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 TRANSFORMATION OF ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE LEARNING THROUGH A LOVE-B ASED LEARNING MODEL IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM AT MTS AN NAJAH TEBUIRENG 3 RIAU https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2487
This study aims to critically examine the transformation of Islamic Fiqh learning through the implementation of a love-based learning model within the Merdeka Curriculum framework, specifically the shift from a cognitive-normative approach to student-centered learning, oriented towards pedagogical relationships, and emphasizing the internalization of values and character building. This study recommends the development of a comprehensive digitalization roadmap , strengthening human resource capacity through ongoing training, and developing a contextual system effectiveness evaluation model to optimize digital transformation in sustainable Islamic education governance
Wahyu Khafidah, Qurrata Akyuni, Zulfadli Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2478 Mon, 23 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 DIGITAL LEADERSHIP AND AI INTEGRATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION: TOWARD A HOLISTIC FRAMEWORK FOR SUSTAINABLE QUALITY EDUCATION https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2477
Digital transformation has reshaped debates on access, equity, and quality in higher education, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key enabler. This study synthesizes existing literature to examine the intersections between AI integration, digital leadership, pedagogical competency, and equity-oriented practices. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA framework, the study analyzed 69 peer-reviewed articles (2022–2025) from Scopus and Watase databases. The findings identified three main themes: expanding digital access, advancing learning equity, and improving quality through AI-based pedagogy. Significant regional differences exist; developing countries (such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand) focus on infrastructure and teacher training, while developed countries emphasize ethics and curriculum innovation. Methodologically, quantitative approaches dominate and theories such as TPACK and TAM are relied upon. The study concludes that AI's impact is maximized when combined with human factors, such as teacher self-efficacy and institutional leadership. AI is not a neutral tool, but rather a transformative force tied to ethics and inclusivity. Active learning is a learning approach where students strive to acquire various knowledge during class learning, this is reflected in the increasing understanding and experience of the students, also allowing students to develop their thinking, for example, such as analytical skills. Another factor why active learning is necessary is because the times continue to develop and each person's characteristics are different, one of which is currently the millennial generation where they generally prefer to collaborate on assignments because they enjoy communicating with their friends.Research objective: To analyze students' experiences in participating in project-based learning, including aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and completion of project assignments . The method used in this research is a mixed methods method. This research is a research step by combining two forms of research that have previously existed, namely qualitative research and quantitative research. According to Creswell, mixed research is a research approach that combines qualitative research with quantitative research. Correlation shows a linear relationship between the variables in this study. Correlation between variables is calculated using the Pearson coefficient whose value ranges from -1 to +1. Positive values indicate a unidirectional relationship (the higher one variable, the higher the other variable), while values close to zero indicate a weak relationship or no linear relationship. The Quality variable, which represents overall quality, shows a strong positive correlation with several other key variables, specifically: Allianc (r = 0.955), indicating a very strong relationship, Imp2 (r = 0.844), Respond (r = 0.823). This study aims to analyze strategies to improve instructor performance by strengthening perceived organizational support, servant leadership, teamwork, employee engagement, and work motivation. A quantitative survey method was employed using Path Analysis and SITOREM analysis. The sample consisted of 133 instructors selected proportionally from a population of 198 instructors at BBPLK Bandung and Bekasi. The results show that all independent variables have a significant positive direct effect on performance, with perceived organizational support as the strongest predictor (beta = 0.303). Perceived organizational support, servant leadership, and teamwork also significantly influence employee engagement and work motivation. Employee engagement and work motivation function as mediating variables, although their contribution is relatively small. SITOREM analysis identifies priority areas for improvement, including efficiency, fairness, member development commitment, team synergy, vigor, and recognition. The findings suggest that improving instructor performance requires an integrated approach combining organizational support, servant leadership, teamwork, engagement, and motivation.
Tanti Susilarini, Rita Retnowati, Dian Wulandari Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2498 Tue, 24 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 BUILDING EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP AT MIN I BANDUNG: A COMBINATION OF TRANSFORMATIONAL AND TRANSACTIONAL STYLES https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2348
Leadership plays an important role in determining the direction and quality of education. At MIN 1 Bandung, the effectiveness of the principal’s leadership is a key factor in building a professional, disciplined, and value-oriented work culture based on Islamic principles. This study aims to describe how the combination of transformational and transactional leadership styles can create an effective leadership pattern within the school environment. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that transformational leadership fosters work motivation, builds a shared vision, and creates a collaborative working atmosphere. Meanwhile, transactional leadership supports the establishment of discipline, responsibility, and a clear system of rewards and sanctions. The combination of both styles results in balanced leadership between motivation and control, proving effective in improving teachers’ performance and the overall quality of education at MIN 1 Bandung. These findings emphasize that the integration of transformational and transactional leadership can serve as a strategic model for strengthening educational leadership in schools
Indah Rosiana, Mulyawan Safwandy Nugraha Copyright (c) 2026 TADBIRUNA https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2348 Tue, 24 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 THE ROLE OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES IN EDUCATION MARKETING: A QUALITATIVE STUDY OF TEACHER PERSPECTIVE ANALYSTS https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/1546
This study aims to explore the role of school committees in educational marketing based on teacher perceptions regarding four aspects of teacher understanding related to the role of education committees, the role of committees in educational marketing, opportunities and challenges of committees in educational marketing. The research employed a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach involving 37 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through pretest–posttest assessments, observations, interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed using mixed methods. Quantitative findings revealed a significant increase in mean scores from 98.38 (moderate category) to 155.89 (high category), with an N-Gain score of 0.62 (moderate to high) and a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 3.402). A paired-sample t-test indicated a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) between pretest and posttest results. Qualitative findings demonstrated improvements in students’ active participation, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy, alongside a shift in teachers’ roles toward facilitators of learning. The integration of quantitative and qualitative results confirms that STEAM-based PAI learning is effective, contextual, and relevant in fostering 4C skills and digital literacy. The objective is to analyze the presence of religious minority communities in responding to the ecological crisis in Southeast Aceh through the contextualization of ecological theology from the encyclical Laudato Si’, using a qualitative phenomenological approach through interviews and focus group discussions with 26 participants in 2025. The results of the study show the successful implementation of an integral ecology model that transforms reforestation from a technical action into a practice of faith, supported by the synergistic integration of three dimensions: spiritual as a driver of ecological conversion, social through participatory community structures, and technical with sustainable methods such as agroforestry. The main conclusion offers a transformative solution: that addressing the ecological crisis must begin with a transformation of the heart driven by spirituality, strengthened by community, and manifested in systematic concrete actions, while also becoming a blueprint for contextual and value- based environmental conservation. This research contributes to developing a model that promotes social and cultural awareness, as well as ecological conversion, which can be used to create educational curricula from elementary to university levels. Additionally, it serves as a policy recommendation for both the government and religion regarding ecological education
Paulus Halek Bere, Paulinus Tibo Copyright (c) 2026 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2519 Fri, 27 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0000 THE IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTING THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM BASED ON DEEP LEARNING LEARNING TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' CREATIVITY AND RELIGIOUS CHARACTER IN THE DIGITAL ERA https://jurnal.iuqibogor.ac.id/index.php/tadbiruna/article/view/2512
The aim of this study is to analyze and empirically measure the magnitude of the influence of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum based on deep learning on improving students' creativity and religious character in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of academic culture among non-Muslim students at the Al-Ma'arif Way Kanan Institute through learning organizations, as well as to identify factors that hinder and support the strengthening of academic culture on campus. This study uses qualitative research. The data collection methods used interviews and observations with Miles and Huberman data analysis. The results show that the strengthening of the learning organization's academic culture at the Al Ma'arif Way Kanan Institute is achieved through active participation in the learning process, involvement in seminars and scientific forums, a culture of sharing and collective learning, and an inclusive academic climate. The inhibiting factors in improving academic culture include the limited time of educators, low student motivation in participating in academic activities, and holiday policies that limit the optimization of academic programs. Analysis of the strengthening of academic culture through learning organizations shows an increase in the academic activities of non-Muslim students, marked by the courage to argue critically and the ability to think at a high level. Participation in seminars and scientific forums expands learning to the realm of real-world experience and strengthens team learning and organizational learning. In addition, the culture of sharing references and interfaith study groups affirms the development of shared learning in the academic environment.
