PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The publication of articles in the Instruktur Journal only depends on scientific validity and coherence as assessed by our editors and/or peer reviewers, who will also assess whether the writing is understandable and whether the work represents a useful contribution in the field. The Instructor's Journal appreciates the efforts and suggestions given by its reviewers.

Preliminary Evaluation of Manuscripts

The editor will first evaluate all submitted manuscripts. While rare, it is highly feasible for an outstanding manuscript to be accepted at this stage. Those who are rejected at this stage are not original enough, have serious scientific defects, or fall outside the purpose and scope of the Instructor's Journal. Those that meet the minimum criteria are forwarded to experts for review.

Types of Peer Reviews

The review process uses double-blind review, which means that the identities of the reviewer and author are hidden from the reviewer, and vice versa.

Review reports

Reviewers are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript:

Be original by clearly stating goals and gaps

Methodologically following appropriate ethical guidelines

Have results/findings that are presented clearly and support conclusions

Reference previous relevant work correctly

Reviewers are not expected to correct or copy manuscripts.

Language correction is not part of the peer review process.

Decision

Reviewers advise editors, who are responsible for the final decision to accept or reject articles. Editors will make decisions based on these reports and, if necessary, they will consult with members of the Editorial Board. Editor's decision is final.
