Abstract

This study aims to analyse the application of an inclusive education financing model in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Islamic education sector in Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method. Data collection was carried out through a review of various relevant scientific papers, in accordance with the literature review, without any manipulation or addition of other data. This research analyses various sources of funding and strategies for managing inclusive education. The research findings reveal that successful implementation of inclusive education financing requires a comprehensive approach involving various stakeholders, including government funding (through School Operational Assistance and village funds), private sector contributions, Islamic philanthropy (zakat and waqf) and community participation. This research identifies three key stages in education financing management: budgeting, accounting and controlling, which must be implemented effectively to optimise resource utilisation. It also highlights various financing strategies that have been implemented in Indonesia, including the Poor Students Assistance Programme (BSM), increased education budget allocations, village-based funding, crowdfunding initiatives, public-private partnerships and the utilisation of financial technology. The study concludes that achieving the SDGs in Islamic education requires a sustained commitment to improving the quality of education, developing supporting infrastructure and ensuring equal access for all members of society, particularly for vulnerable groups and those with special needs
