ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN LINGKUNGAN FISIK DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KEKERASAN DI SEKOLAH

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the development of the physical environment in efforts to prevent violence at SMAN 1 Cisarua. This study used a qualitative case study method with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation carried out at SMAN 1 Cisarua. The results of the study showed that the development of the physical environment in efforts to prevent violence at SMAN 1 Cisarua was divided into three aspects, namely: 1) Cleanliness; 2) Security; and 3) Comfort. The development of the physical environment of schools at SMAN 1 Cisarua by maintaining cleanliness, increasing security, and creating comfort plays a major role in efforts to prevent violence. Schools that are categorized as clean, safe, and comfortable will have a good impact on students' psychology, increase their sense of ownership of the environment, and reduce the risk of aggressive or violent actions among students. Although in reality, the development of the physical environment at SMAN 1 Cisarua has not been implemented optimally and achieved the desired goals, SMAN 1 Cisarua continues to strive to optimize the management of the physical environment so that it can be a safe and pleasant place for all school residents
