Focus and Scope:

Al-Mubin: Islamic Scientific Journal has a focus on the study of Islamic education with the following scope:

  • Fundamentals of Islamic education (philosophy, history and the nature of Islamic education),

  • Development of Islamic educational institutions (development of Islamic education curriculum, Islamic learning method and Islamic education teacher and others)�

  • Studies of the concept of Islamic education (Islamic educational leading figure, Quran sunnah text, and others).

Peer Review Process

Review policy by Al-Mubin: Islamic Scientific Journal as follows:

  • Any submitted paper will be reviewed by two reviewers.
  • Review process employs Double-blind Review, that the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewer.
  • In the review process, reviewers consider the correspondence of title, abstract, discussion (findings) and conclusions. In addition, reviewers also consider the novelty, scientific impact and references used in the paper.

Comments from reviewers will be the consideration for Editors to decide:

  • Accept Submission
  • Revisions Required
  • Resubmit for review
  • Resubmit elsewhere
  • Decline Submission

An article was rejected for publication due to various considerations, including:

  • The article does not fit the scope of journal.
  • The article does not follow the rules of writing scientific papers or author guidelines.
  • The fundamental methodological errors.
  • The author refuses to make improvements based on suggestions given by reviewers without a logical basis.
  • There are indications of plagiarism more than 20%.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration
