CONNECTION LEVEL RELIGIOSITY WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDENT WELL-BEING SMAN 1 INDRALAYA
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being among high
school students in Indonesia, considering that late adolescence is a dynamic phase of development
with various psychosocial and academic challenges. A correlational quantitative method was used
with a sample of 78 eleventh-grade students at Indralaya 1 Public High School. Data were collected
using a Likert scale questionnaire. The results showed that the majority of students had very high
(51%) and high (46%) religiosity, as well as very high psychological well-being (92%). Pearson
Product Moment correlation analysis yielded a coefficient of 0.862, indicating a positive and very
strong relationship between the two variables. This means that the higher the students' level of
religiosity, the higher their psychological well-being, and vice versa. These findings confirm the role of
religiosity as a protective factor and a significant source of meaning for the psychological well-being
of adolescents in the school environment.
