Penerapan Cinema Therapy Serial Anime Naruto dalam Meningkatkan Nilai Prososial Siswa MI At-Taufiqiyah Bluto Sumenep

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation process of cinema therapy using the Naruto anime series to improve the prosocial values of students at MI At-Taufiqiyah Bluto. This research was conducted because the students' prosocial attitudes were not yet optimal, resulting in inconsistent prosocial behavior. This study employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, the guidance and counseling teacher, the homeroom teacher of Class IV-A, and ten Class IV-A students. Participant observation was conducted during the implementation of cinema therapy, and relevant documents were also analyzed. Data were analyzed interactively using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while source and method triangulation were applied to ensure the validity of the findings. The results indicate that the implementation of cinema therapy consisted of three main stages: the orientation stage, the film selection stage, and the homework assignment stage. After participating in the therapy, students demonstrated greater concern for classmates experiencing difficulties, stronger cooperation and mutual support during group activities, and increased perseverance in learning. These findings suggest that cinema therapy can serve as an innovative and effective guidance and counseling intervention for fostering prosocial values among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students.
