Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service factors, trust, sharia reasons and promotion on the decision of the people of Bogor city to choose to pawn goods in sharia. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique with the research population being customers of PT Pegadaian Syariah in 2019-2023 and a sample of 98 respondents. The results showed that the variables of service, trust, sharia reasons and promotion had a significant effect on the decision of the Bogor Regency community to pawn goods in sharia. With the influence of the four variables, it is evident that people pawn goods in sharia because of their interest in employee service, trust in institutions, have an understanding of Islamic law regarding muamalah and are interested in all forms of promotion in sharia pawnshops.
