Revitalisasi Peran Penyuluh Agama dalam Mewujudkan Ketahanan Keluarga Maslahah An-Nahdliyyah di Kabupaten Sumenep

Abstract

The role of religious counselors is strategic in building mental, soul, moral, and piety values. Currently, the tasks of religious counselors are facing the rapid changes in society, which are moving towards a scientific society, a functional society, a technological society, and an open society. A phenomenon occurring in Sumenep Regency, particularly in Bluto District, which is the object of this research, is the increasing divorce rate, especially among young couples who are members of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), even after only a few years of marriage. Therefore, this research aims to examine the revitalization of the role of religious counselors in achieving family resilience based on maslahah an-Nahdliyyah in Sumenep Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The findings of this study indicate that there are several revitalizations carried out by religious counselors in revitalizing their roles in realizing family resilience based on maslahah an-Nahdliyyah, including: First, in achieving family resilience based on maslahah an-Nahdliyyah, religious counselors strengthen the foundation of family maslahah by providing reinforcement of the foundation of maslahah family, creating a positive inner atmosphere for the maslahah family, and strengthening the foundation of family resilience based on maslahah. Second, maximizing their main duties and functions by implementing programs from the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) through two roles, namely as facilitators and mediators for the community.3-5 keywords that describe the substance of the article.
