Penerapan Konseling Individu Dengan Teknik Homework Assigment dalam Meningkatkan Kepercayan Diri Korban Bullying

Abstract
The background of this research is that self-confidence is a deep feeling within a person that they are capable of doing something for themselves, their family, and their community. Lack of self-confidence can hinder the development of one's potential. Victims of bullying who have low self-esteem will act shy, awkward, not dare to express their ideas, and hesitate in making decisions. The purpose of this research is to find out whether individual counseling using the Homework Assignment technique can increase the self-confidence of victims of bullying. This research uses a Qualitative approach (field research). The subject of this research is a case study. The techniques used to collect data are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research show that the application of individual counseling with the homework assignment technique is proven effective in increasing self-confidence in victims of bullying. This technique helps clients who experience low self-esteem due to verbal bullying in the boarding school. Before counseling was conducted, the client showed symptoms such as withdrawing from the environment, excessive anxiety, and irrational beliefs that affected their performance at school. The application of individual counseling was carried out in 4 meetings, 2 interviews before conducting individual counseling. The implementation of this individual counseling goes through 3 stages, namely the initial stage, the core stage (middle), and the final stage (evaluation).
