DAI CHILDREN AND THE ART OF DA'WAH: A CHILD-FRIENDLY MODEL OF RELIGIOUS COMMUNICATION

Abstrak
Da'wah to children requires a communication pattern that is in accordance with the characteristics of the child's development, emotional needs, and social experiences. The da'wah approach that only emphasizes verbal message delivery tends to be less able to create active children's involvement. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of children's communication, identify the use of art as a da'wah medium, and formulate a child-friendly religious communication model. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were obtained from scientific journal articles and relevant academic sources regarding da'wah communication, children's da'wah, da'wah art, religious education, and child-friendly communication. The data were analyzed through content analysis and thematic synthesis. The results of the study showed that da'wah communication to children is effective when it combines the example of da'wah, age-appropriate message delivery, the use of art and creative media, children's active involvement, and a safe, dialogical, and compassionate communication atmosphere. Based on these findings, the DASAR Model (Dai Anak–Seni–Active–Ramah) was formulated as a framework for religious communication that places children as active subjects in the da'wah process
