PENGARUH PROGRAM SERTIFIKASI GURU TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN KINERJA GURU

Abstrak
The most important component in the education process is the teacher, the aspect of the teacher who most influences the improvement of education, therefore professionalism of a teacher is absolutely needed, especially in the condition of education in our country which is lagging behind other countries. In order to catch up, the government has made a lot of efforts to improve the professionalism of these teachers by holding trainings, seminars and other programs. One of them is the teacher certification program that has passed the education and training of this certification will get benefits from the government, so it is expected that with this allowance can be a stimulant for increasing teacher motivation and performance which ultimately leads to the creation of professional teachers. Based on that, this research was conducted to find out whether the certification program had an influence on work motivation and teacher performance or not, especially on certification teachers in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah environment and also to find out how much influence it had on teachers, if this certification program had correlation of work motivation and teacher performance. Based on the results of research and data analysis conducted for certification teachers, the Teacher Certification Program Variable (X) on the variable of work motivation (Y1) has no significant effect. In general, work motivation with a coefficient of 0.066. This means that if the certification program runs well enough, it increases teacher motivation. The results of the field research show that certification teachers are at good work motivation intervals, this shows that motivation is influenced by other aspects besides the teacher certification program such as the teacher's internal motivation itself, work environment, other aspects which are not researched by researchers. The teacher certification program variable (X) on the teacher performance variable (Y2) has a significant effect and the relationship is positive, in which the square determination coefficient of 0.491 means that if the certification program runs smoothly it can improve teacher performance by 49.1%. The remaining aspects of this performance are influenced by other factors not examined
