Abstrak

Kiai as community leaders have a big role in the efforts of national intelligence. Through pesantren education institutions, kiyai eradicate ignorance. Kyai and his pesantren are the lighters of society. The knowledge of religion and general was concocted by the kyai to equip the students to achieve a more noble future. This paper analyzes the role of KH. Ahmad Sanusi in educating the community through the establishment of Islamic educational institutions. This study uses a literature study approach. The author searches for information through books written by figures and books written by other people about KH. Ahmad Sanusi. This study found that KH. Ahmad Sanusi played a very important role in the intellectualization of the nation. Especially in West Java.
