DESAIN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI PAUD MELALUI METODE SMART GASING

Abstract

Mathematics learning in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important foundation for children's numerical and cognitive literacy development. However, mathematics learning in PAUD is often conventional and less engaging. This article discusses the design of mathematics learning in PAUD through the adaptation of the Smart Gasing (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) method developed by Prof. Yohanes Surya. This method emphasizes a multisensory approach and concrete experiences to foster numerical understanding, logic, and other intelligences holistically. By utilizing the principles of play, songs, and physical activities, Smart Gasing is expected to create an effective, enjoyable, and relevant mathematics learning environment for early childhood, thereby fostering a strong foundation for numerical literacy
