KOMUNIKASI KONSELOR DALAM BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING

Abstrak

The interpersonal communication of the counselor shown in the process of individual counseling services is part of the form of communication. Good interpersonal counselor communication certainly makes clients feel comfortable doing individual counseling services. Likewise the atmosphere that is built is full of intimacy between counselor and client. With effective interpersonal communication the counselor is expected to improve emotional relations in order to support success in the process of individual counseling services. The purpose of this study is to find out the counselor's interpersonal communication skills and know the form of interpersonal communication of the counselor in providing individual counseling and guidance services in MTs Kifayatul Achyar. This study uses a descriptive method that is an approach to get authentic data by direct dialogue or interview with counselors directly. While analyzing data using a logical approach. The purpose of this study is to find out the process and forms of interpersonal communication of counselors in individual counseling. The core of the success of interpersonal communication skills of counselors in the process of individual counseling services in Kifayatul Achyar can be seen from the interpersonal communication process of counselors in conducting individual counseling services is quite good. This is evidenced by the presence of warmth, intimacy, openness, comfort and an understanding between the counselor (communicator) and client (communicant). Thus the implementation of counseling went smoothly as expected. Forms of interpersonal counselor communication in individual counseling can be seen in the affirmation of message information conveyed (verbal), the attitude of acceptance when individual counseling is indicated by non-verbal communication, then there is harmony between verbal communication (verbal) and body language (non verbal). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the counselor's interpersonal communication skills are seen in reception, which is reflected in gestures, verbal speech both in language and the counselor's attitude that is raised. Then the way of thinking and encouragement counselors are able to foster the enthusiasm of the client's life which has implications for the ease of the problems and enthusiasm of the client's life
