Abstract

This study began with the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of Fiqh at MI Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Ngudirejo, which is still dominated by traditional teaching methods. The research aims to explore the application of Information Technology (IT)-based learning approaches, compare students' learning outcomes before and after implementation, and measure the significant impact of IT-based learning on Fiqh learning outcomes. The study adopts a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test with a sample of 24 fifth-grade students from MI Hidayatul Mubtadi'in. Data analysis involved descriptive analysis and non-parametric inferential statistical analysis using SPSS Version 16.0 through the Wilcoxon test. The study results indicated an increase in the average score from 69.14 to 72.50 after implementing the learning. However, the Wilcoxon test results showed an Asymp. Sig(2-tailed) value of 0.132, which means there is no significant statistical impact. Nevertheless, descriptively, IT-based learning showed a positive effect on improving students' learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh
